An international group wanted to improve its productivity and decided to implement value-added services to better monitor its mineral production. The Group called on GEKA Telecom, its long-standing partner, to deploy a private 4G LTE network to enable these services.

Results achieved
We have set up a fully secure private 4G LTE network, offering speeds in excess of 100 Mbit/s. This has considerably improved the mine's productivity. In addition, we have implemented various complementary services such as vehicle tracking, production monitoring, as well as voice and video functionalities. These improvements have brought greater operational efficiency to the entire system.

Network deployment
FTTH turnkey
This Internet Service Provider is the leading private operator in Benin’s fixed Internet market. At the end of 2020, the ISP obtained funding from BPI France to extend its existing FTTH network with 500 km of optical fiber in the Grand Cotonou region. GEKA Telecom has been selected by the ISP to carry out the entire contract, which will connect between 30,000 and 40,000 homes as well as numerous businesses and international organizations.
